I have some really good news to report. As many of you read, Entry 1 and 2 were from Austin where I did a show for Keller Williams. They asked me to sign some lyric sheets that were to be auctioned off for a charity. Here is what came back to me just days ago from Vickie in Gary’s office:
“I just had to share some wonderful news. Remember those “My Life” lyric sheets you signed so that we could auction them off to benefit our charity – specifically, to help raise money for The Will Norton Memorial Fund? This fund will help to build a baseball field for children with special needs in Joplin, as a tribute to Will’s life and love for baseball. Will was the son of a KW agent who was tragically killed on his way home from his high school graduation by the massive tornado that struck Joplin this past spring.
Each of your 20 signed lyric sheets were auctioned off for $600 a piece! We raised approx $12,000 for this fund from your willingness to sign those inspirational lyric sheets for us. How amazing is that?! We are so incredibly grateful and thrilled – thank you so much!
”
I talk about this each night, and will soon have a link posted on my site for the Will Norton Memorial Fund.
Blessings
Pam
